Lucky Ghost, the 1942 William X. Crowley black African American gambling horror comedy thriller ("You Can Bet Your Bottom Dollar It's THRILLING - EXCITING - FUNNY!"; "Thrills! Chills! A Thriller-Diller laff sensation!"; "with an ALL STAR COLORED CAST!") starring Mantan Moreland, F.E. Miller (Flourney E. Miller), Florence O'Brien, Monty Hawley, Maceo Bruce Scheffield, and "An All Star Colored Cast". Note that Flourney Miller was a major figure in black Broadway musical history, performing and writing with his partner Aubrey Lyles. After Lyles passed away in 1933, Miller appeared in a number of all-black movies in the 1930s and 1940s.
