An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Across the Pacific, the 1942 John Huston & Vincent Sherman World War II (WWII) romantic spy espionage adventure thriller ("Boy! when Bogart boffs those Japs... or when he kisses Mary Astor you can feel it Across the Pacific"; "From the Saturday Evening Post serial by Robert Carson"; based on the story "Aloha Means Good-bye" by Robert Garson; set in the days right before Pearl Harbor, about a U.S. Army officer who is court-martialed, and he boards a Japanese ship heading to the Panama Canal and discovers a Japanese plot to blow it up) starring Humphrey Bogart, Mary Astor, Sydney Greenstreet, Charles Halton, Victor Sen Yung, and Frank Wilcox. Note that this film reunited three of the stars from the previous year's "Maltese Falcon", as well as director John Huston!

Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. The card had some pinholes and creases around the edges, with a 1/2" tear in the middle of the right border. The card had two pinholes near the center, in the background area, and some demented youth put tiny pinholes in each of Bogart's eyes. A restorer performed very slight restoration to the border defects and did their best to restore Bogart's eyes. When you look at the card from a reasonable viewing distance and you don't know, you likely would not realize it had this unusual defect. But when you stare closely at Bogart's eyes, it becomes apparent that there was restoration there, so do not bid on card poster unless you have read the above carefully and looked at our super-sized images, and can accept its defects described above.
