An Original 1968 (from the first release of this movie in Japan) Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20" x 28 1/2" [51 x 72 cm]) (Learn More) The Trip, the 1967 Roger Corman LSD acid drug thriller ("A Lovely Sort of Death"; "In Psychedelic COLOR"; "Written by Jack Nicholson"; about a commercial director who is going through a bitter divorce, so he decides to go on an LSD trip...) starring Peter Fonda, Susan Strasberg, Dennis Hopper, Bruce Dern, and Salli Sachse. Note that the poster designer created a wacky tagline "A Lovely Sort of Death", just so the L, S, and D at the start of each word could be highlighted in a different color, so that the "LSD" would be apparent on the poster, and yet would hopefully keep them out of trouble from censors! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good to fine. There is a very light horizontal crease across the poster at upper and lower center from it being stored with posters that were tri-folded, but it is not very noticeable or distracting.
