An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Three-Sheet Movie Poster (3sh; measures 41" x 81" [104 x 206 cm]) (Learn More) The Haunted Honeymoon, the 1925 Fred Guiol & Ted Wilde silent romantic newlywed horror slapstick comedy short ("'I don't believe in ghosts, but I wish I weren't where I am.'"; produced by Hal Roach; about a wedding gone because of the substitution of a dog license for the marriage certificate, and the bride and groom are also in a haunted house) starring Glenn Tryon, Blanche Mehaffey, James Finlayson, Yorke Sherwood, Jules Mendel, Helen Gilmore, and Janet Gaynor (in a very early uncredited role). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had only minor fold and border wear. It was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. Very sadly, after it was backed, it came in contact with water, and it is now badly stained down the left 3-4", which has greatly rippled the poster and the linen. It would surely need to be re-backed and "rescued". This is a MAJOR defect, so bear this in mind before placing a bid on this poster. Learn More about condition grades
