An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Standee (measures 32 1/2" x 59 1/2" [83 x 151 cm]) (Learn More) The Jackpot, the 1950 Walter Lang romantic family relationship radio contest winner comedy ("James Stewart and Barbara Hale hit The Jackpot"; "It's the Prize-Winning Comedy Of The Year!"; "Based on an Article in The New Yorker by John McNulty"; about a man who wins a radio prize show, but must sell the prizes in order to pay off the taxes on them) starring James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart), Barbara Hale, James Gleason, Fred Clark, Alan Mowbray, Patricia Medina, Natalie Wood, Tommy Rettig, Robert Gist, and Lyle Talbot NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: There are two circular pieces of cardboard attached to the back of the standee with a string between them (this is how the standees were originally made), and they are both still present, pretty unusual for standees of this age. This does not have any kind of regular standee backing. We are guessing that you were supposed to lean the standee against a pole and tie the strings from the circles around the pole, but that is just a guess! Condition: fair. There is much light staining and scuffing throughout the standee. It was stored in a damp environment, and it is now "musty" and has a distinct musty odor. It likely would be greatly improved simply by being allowed to air out for a few hours in sunlight, but bear this in mind before placing a bid on this standee. Learn More about condition grades
