An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Lost in a Harem, the 1944 Charles Reisner Arabian romantic fantasy screwball comedy ("Music! Maidens! Merriment!") starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello), Marilyn Maxwell, John Conte, Douglass Dumbrille, Jimmy Dorsey & His Orchestra, and Lock Martin (billed as "J. Lockhard Martin"; in his film debut). Note that Martin was a giant at 7' 4" (some reports suggest 7' 7"!), and he later also played "Gort" in "The Day the Earth Stood Still", before passing away in 1959 at the age of 42. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been machine folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded once horizontally and once vertically right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded example of most half-sheets, especially from before 1970! Condition: good to very good. There is a vertical pencil mark over the winking eye of Costello at top right. There are some smudges, faint water stains, creases, and small tears in the borders.
