An Original Vintage Autographed 5" x 7" [13 x 18 cm] Fan Photo (Learn More) James Melton was a singer from the 1920s to the 1950s. He performed on many radio programs such as The Firestone Hour, The Palmolive Beauty Box Theater, Texaco Star Theater, and Harvest of Stars. He also appeared in a few movies including: Stars Over Broadway, Sing Me a Love Song, Melody for Two, and Ziegfeld Follies. He passed away in 1961 at the age of 57. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by James Melton! Note that our consignor runs a memorabilia store, and the granddaughter of Mabel Young, who was a Paramount and MGM make-up artist in the 1930s and 1940s, sold him a collection of signed deluxe stills that her grandmother had acquired from MGM and Paramount stars when she worked at those studios. He has no certificate of authenticity, but we feel certain these signatures are authentic, and that the photos are original to the 1930s and 1940s (and since the woman who obtained the signatures worked at the studio, it makes it all that more certain that the stars actually signed them, and many of them are personalized "To Mabel").
