Phantom of the Jungle, the 1955 Spencer Gordon Bennet (billed as "Spencer Bennet") Africa jungle safari horror action adventure thriller ("Terrifying ! Strange! Wild!"; "Terrifying! Strange! Weird!"; "Terrifying adventure rages on the dark continent!"; "They dared pierce the weirdest mystery of the dark continent!!"; "SEE... The savage dance for human sacrifice!"; "SEE... Man-eating crocodiles!"; "SEE... The warrior attack on the king of beasts!"; a compilation of three episodes of the TV series "Ramar of the Jungle" edited together and released as a feature) starring Jon Hall, Ray Montgomery, Anne Gwynne, Nick Stewart, and James Griffith

Condition: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at each crossfold and some wear along the foldlines. There was an NSS stamp on the back of the upper center of the poster, and it bleeds through to the front in the background area to the right of the "M" of "PHANTOM" of the title. There were pinholes around the edges of the poster. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster). Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but the defects described above are noticeable.
