An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36") (Learn More) I Was a Teenage Werewolf, the classic 1957 Gene Fowler Jr. monster horror thriller ("The most amazing motion picture of our time!") starring Michael Landon (in the title role as the werewolf!), Yvonne Lime, Whit Bissell, Tony Marshall, Dawn Richard, and Ken Miller NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Albert Kallis Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). good to very good. The poster had pinholes, creases, smudges, and some small tears around the edges of the poster. The entire poster has darkened slightly. There were many light horizontal creases and scuffs throughout the image, as though the poster was rolled tightly at one time (though strangely, there are few scuffs or creases in the image of the woman at middle left). The person who mounted the poster pretty much just mounted it "as is". But the defects are really not all that distracting, and I would think many collectors could accept this poster as is.
