An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Buster Keaton ("The Great Stone Face") was an actor from the 1900s to the 1960s. He was (along with Charlie Chaplin) one of the two most famous comedians in silent movies, and he continued to make sound movies as well. He has too many wonderful movies to list, but some of his movies include: The General, Sherlock Jr., The Cameraman, and he made a very memorable final cameo appearance in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. He passed away in 1966 at the age of 70. Important Added Info: Note that this is a wonderful stock glass slide that was created by Metro Pictures for their Buster Keaton movies. Also note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: good. Only one pane of glass is present, and there is no black tape around the edges. It has staining around the edges (see our image). Certainly, anyone could take a blank second pane from any other glass slide and "marry it" to this one and you will have an incredible slide in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
