If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that very few 40x60s survive from before 1960! This poster not only has a wonderful full-color image of Rathbone, but it also has a surreal image of the title spider woman in a literal web, and the art is unsigned, but it is reminiscent of the best of the Mexican posters of the 1940s. We have never seen or heard of this poster before! Condition: good to very good. The entire poster has darkened somewhat. There are many creases and scuffs scattered throughout, and some tiny tears scattered down the left and right borders, with pinholes and small paper loss in the blank corners. There was a 3" tear in the lower right border that extended solely into the black background and was repaired with clear tape from the back. The poster has otherwise never had any sort of restoration, and while you can see the many creases and scuffs, I don't think they interfere enough with the image to where I would have it restored, because they establish that the poster is from 1944, but certainly, the new owner may feel differently and choose to have restoration performed. In either event, the new owner will have an incredible one of a kind poster that all who see it will need to stop and take a good look at it! Learn More about condition grades
