An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Movie Lobby Card #6 (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Out of the Past (released in other English-speaking countries as "Build My Gallows High"), the classic 1947 Jacques Tourneur romantic love triangle revenge crime film noir thriller ("A Man - Trying to run away from his past... A Woman - Trying to escape her future!" "'Don't try to get rid of me for another woman... ...it won't work!"'; based on the novel 'Build My Gallows High' by Daniel Mainwaring; a great story of a private investigator who is hired by a gangster to find his missing mistress, and he does so, but then he falls for her, and starts a romance with her, even though he knows he is likely signing his death warrant) starring Robert Mitchum, Jane Greer, Kirk Douglas (in his third movie role!), Rhonda Fleming, Richard Webb, Steve Brodie, Dickie Moore, Virginia Huston, Paul Valentine, and Ken Niles NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this lobby card has been personally autographed (signed) by Jane Greer & Robert Mitchum (the autographs were obtained separately, and Greer signed in a black pen and Mitchum signed with a silver marker)! Condition: very good to fine. The card has some creases in the right of the bottom blank border, but is otherwise in really wonderful condition. At some point, someone framed this great card and put a piece of masking tape across the back of the top blank border, to hold it to a mat. When the card was removed from the frame, that person attempted to remove the masking tape, and that caused some surface paper loss on the back of the top blank corner and on the back of the right center of the top border (just very slightly extending into the background area), but this surface paper loss has absolutely no effect on the front of the card. Other than the tape that was used to attach the card to a mat, the card has never had any restoration of any kind! Learn More about condition grades
