We have only auctioned one in all our years of auctioning and that was in 2004! Note also that this movie was originally in 3-D. The studios created both 3D and 2D posters and lobby cards (the 2-D posters and lobby cards were for theaters that lacked the 3-D equipment). This poster is from the "2-D" release. Also note that this poster has never been machine folded! Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were machine folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters (note that most post-1970 half-sheets were NOT machine folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those half-sheets). Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has tears in the right and left blank borders and those are repaired with tape from the back and there is paper loss in the center of the right blank border (backed by tape). It has some light scuffing in the darker-colored areas of the image, but otherwise the ultra rare poster is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
