An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" Movie Still (Learn More) Desire, the 1936 Frank Borzage romantic jewel thief smuggling melodrama ("Together again for the first time since 'Morocco'"; "From a comedy by Hans Szekely and R.A. Stemmle"; about a beautiful jewel thief in Paris who steals a pearl necklace, and who hides them in the luggage of an American engineer going to Spain, and then she must retrieve them from him, and in doing so, she falls in love with him) starring Marlene Dietrich, Gary Cooper, John Halliday, William Frawley, Ernest Cossart, Akim Tamiroff, Alan Mowbray, and Zeffie Tilbury (who had the part of her life at the end of her career, as Grandma in "The Grapes of Wrath") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that there is information about the still printed on the back. It tells that the still has a great candid image of director Rouben Mamoulian, who has just returned to Hollywood, and he rushed to the set of "Desire" to see Marlene Dietrich (a movie he had no connection with), and he ate lunch with her (and judging by the longing look he is giving her, that is not all he wanted to do with her!).
