An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Mexican Movie Poster (measures 27" x 37" [69 x 94 cm]) (Learn More) El Vagabundo (literally translates to "The Wanderer"), the 1953 (released in the U.S. in 1954) Rogelio A. Gonzalez & Gilberto Martinez Solares Mexican circus comedy (about a hobo's good deeds getting him in trouble, and eventually, he's in a zoo park within a circus!) starring German Valdes (billed as "Tin-Tan"; in the title role as La Chiva), Aurora Segura, Leonor Llausas, Wolf Ruvinskis, and Marcelo Chavez Artist: Ernesto Garcia Cabral Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Mexican movie! Condition: poor to fair. This Mexican poster is EXTREMELY fragile. Mexican posters were printed on a paper stock that often ages very poorly, and also darkens. This poster has darkened somewhat and is more fragile along the foldlines (but of course, any talented restorer could linenback the poster, after which it would look great, but it might require fairly extensive restoration). There is a patch of paper loss in Tin-Tan's face at upper right and there are MANY pinholes scattered throughout. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept how fragile it is and its pretty significant defects, or are willing to pay to have it linenbacked and restored.
