Gene Stratton-Porter's The Keeper of the Bees, the 1925 James Leo Meehan silent romantic family relationship melodrama ("The most beautiful story of the year made into a magnificent motion picture!"; "A photodrama that will live in your memory as one of the finest stories of all time"; "A gripping screen version of Gene Stratton-Porter's greatest novel"; a complicated story of a World War I veteran who is left half of an estate by a war buddy, and there is an 11 year old girl who dresses as a boy who gets the other half, and then he gets roped into a marriage with a woman who was pregnant when he met her!) starring Robert Frazer, Clara Bow (as the sister of the supposed pregnant woman), Alyce Mills, Martha Mattox, Alyce Mills, and Joe Coppa. Note that this movie was remade twice, in 1935 and in 1947. Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
