Important Added Info: Note that we have seen this classic movie many times, and we feel pretty certain that this scene (where young Jack Carson stops James Stewart from attacking governor Guy Kibbee, who is talking to the senators) was deleted from the movie. Of course, it is possible that this scene was in the movie when it played in 1939, but was subsequently deleted from currently existing prints, likely to shorten the movie. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. The card has darkened, typical of Columbia lobby cards of this period. There is a 1" tear in the lower right border, with a few pinholes and creases around the edges. There are faint smudges and scuffs scattered throughout the card, but they are mostly only noticeable when the card is tilted to the light. See our super-sized images to get a good sense of the condition of this card. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
