An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Stage Play Window Card (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More) Z-O-O-M!, the 1931 stage play production (of the work by John B. Hymer and William E. Barry; "The Lakewood Players [a national institution] present the world premiere of the skyrocket comedy-drama Z-O-O-M!"; "Not to see Lakewood is not to see Maine") starring James Bell, Mary Phillips, Joyce Arling, Humphrey Bogart, Warren Hymer ("Home From Hollywood"), and Thirty Other Broadway Players. Note that Lakewood Theater was a major summer tryout for productions hoping for Broadway success. Actors who graced the stage at Lakewood included Humphrey Bogart, Betty White, Mickey Rooney, Milton Berle, Jessica Tandy and many others. Bogart worked in Maine theaters from the late 1920s to the very early 1930s and was a Lakewood Player in 1931. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this stage play window card! Of course, everyone on it and everything on it is virtually completely lost in the sands of time, EXCEPT for fourth billed Humphrey Bogart, and Warren Hymer, who received giant billing below Bogart, no doubt because he had actually appeared in a Hollywood movie (he is billed as "Home from Hollywood")! It is surely one of the most rare Humphrey Bogart collectibles there is! Condition: fair. There is paper loss in the man's cheek and in the bottom left corner, and just above the center of the title. There are also some stains scattered throughout (see our image). Learn More about condition grades
