Utvandrarna (released in the U.S. in 1972 as "The Emigrants"), the 1971 Jan Troell (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) Swedish 19th century emigration-to-the-United-States-from-Sweden melodrama ("A new land... A new hope... A new dream"; "From a novel by Vilhelm Moberg"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Max Von Sydow, Liv Ullmann (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Eddie Axberg, Allan Edwall, and Hans Alfredson. Note that this movie was followed by a sequel, "The New Land" with the principals reprising their roles!

Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Swedish movie! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. There is light rippling and very light staining throughout the poster from exposure to moisture. There is paper loss in the middle of the top edge and there are tape stains and tack holes around the edges of the poster.
