An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Spanish Movie Poster (measures 26 3/4" x 39 1/4" [68 x 100 cm]) (Learn More) El Gato sin Botas (literally translates to "The Cat Without Boots"), the 1957 Fernando Cortes Mexican romantic fantasy comedy starring Tin-Tan, Martha Valdes, Nono Arsu, Wolf Rubinsky, and Marcelo Chavez. Note that the title seems to literally translate to "The Cat Without Boots", and it seems to be some sort of sexy take-off on the classic "Puss in Boots" fairy tale, and the poster features great wild cartoonish art of a male and female feline cat with human faces, and both wearing boots! Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned this Spanish poster, which is a "country of origin" poster for this Mexican movie! It has a similar image to the original Mexican poster, but not as detailed. The original Mexican poster has art by Ernesto Garcia Cabral, but this poster may just have art by someone who copied the Cabral art. Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster has tiny pinholes in each corner and there are some tiny tears in portions of the right halves of the upper and lower horizontal folds, and there are some v-shaped tears in the left halves of those folds (one is in Tin-Tan's ankle at lower left). It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a simple linenbacking the very rare poster will look great! Learn More about condition grades
