It was founded in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania by the Mellon Family and was considered one of the so-called Seven Sisters oil companies prior to it's merger with Standard Oil of California. Like many other oil companies, they branched out into automotive services such as tires and service stations, but they also produced home products such as household pesticides. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has some creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears at upper right and in some smaller areas of the poster (see our image). Fortunately these defects affect only blank paper and after linenbacking it would look great, but it does display well as is. Learn More about condition grades
