Learn More UPDATED 10/28/2010: Note that we received this poster just before the auction went on and it appears to have had very minor restoration, and we described it in that way. But our consignor informs us that the poster had a very unusual defect. There was a rectangular piece cut from the bottom-left portion of the poster (see our image to the right). It appears that someone cut that portion off of the poster with a blade (for unknown reasons) but that otherwise the poster WAS in nice condition prior to restoration, with bright colors and minor fold wear. An expert restorer recreated the missing rectangular area from an image of another example of the poster and I know it is fair to say that very few people would be able to tell exactly where the recreated section is without it being specifically pointed out to them. But please take this restored area into account before placing a bid on this poster. Condition: very good to fine. The poster had minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well. Learn More about condition grades
