Some of his roles were in Cell 2455 Death Row (playing a character based on Caryl Chessman), Dementia 13, Love Me Tender, Battle Cry, Natchez Trace, The Naked and the Dead, and he had two memorable roles in the original "Star Trek" TV series as Trelane in the "The Squire of Gothos" episode, and as Captain Koloth in the "Trouble With Tribbles" episode. Campbell passed away in 2011 at the age of 87. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by William Campbell! Note that the still (and 23 others) comes from the collection of a man who managed the largest movie theater in Louisiana from the 1940s through the 1970s, and many premieres and special showings were held at his theater over the years. Sometimes the stars or the directors would attend those showings, and when they did, he would always have the star autograph an 8x10.
