An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Thanks for the Memory, the 1938 George Archainbaud romantic musical ("Screen Play by Lynn Sterling"; "Based on a Play by Albert Hackett and Frances Goodrich"; "The hit SONG of the year... is now the hit PICTURE of the year!"; "BOB HOPE and SHIRLEY ROLL, the romantic team that sold the song 'Thanks for the Memory', return to sell - BIG - a heart-warming love story of two Babes in Manhattan!") starring Bob Hope, Shirley Ross, Charles Butterworth, Otto Kruger, Hedda Hopper, and Patricia Wilder (billed as "Patricia 'Honey Chile' Wilder"). Note that Bob Hope's trademark song was "Thanks For the Memories", which he and Ross first sang in The Big Broadcast of 1938! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
