Morse detective newspaper crime thriller ("That daring girl reporter solves a baffling murder case."; "Based on the popular action cartoon strip!"; "Based on the popular cartoon feature!"; "Based on the comic strip created by Monte Barrett & Russell E. Ross") starring Rosella Towne (in the title role as Jane Arden), William Gargan, James Stephenson, Benny Rubin, and Dennie Moore. Note that the comic strip this movie was based on began in 1928, and in 1937, it was given a radio show as well. This movie was intended to be the first in a series, but that did not happen, for reasons we do not know, because this was apparently a solid B-movie. Also note that star Rosella Towne lived a long life, and passed away in 2014 at the age of 96. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good to fine. The card has barely darkened at all, very unusual for Warner Bros. linen lobby cards of this period. There is a very faint slightly diagonal scuff mark across the upper part of the image, entering into both stars' foreheads, but it not at all noticeable when the card is looked at straight on, and otherwise, it is in really nice condition!
