Berke Africa comic strip adventure thriller ("Hunting a long-lost treasure hoard!"; "His most exciting role!"; "Based upon the famous King Features Syndicate newspaper feature"; "Rousing spectacle of wild adventure!"; the very first of the "Jungle Jim" series of movies) starring Johnny Weissmuller (in the title role as Jungle Jim), Virginia Grey, George Reeves, Lita Baron, Rick Vallin, Holmes Herbert, , and Steve Calvert (in an uncredited role as the man in the gorilla suit). Note that in 1948, Steve Calvert bought Ray 'Crash' Corrigan's gorilla costume, which Corrigan had been using in movies since at least 1932. He appeared in 12 movies between 1948 and 1958 as a gorilla wearing Corrigan's costume! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: good to very good. The poster ha a few tiny pinholes around the edges and there is some separation in the crossfolds.
