Note that Roman Jacowlew was a Jewish musician who moved to France from Russia at the age of 14 and went on to create a tzigane, or Gypsy orchestra, with 14 musicians and one singer, his French wife (they later divorced). He survived the German occupation of France by hiding in another woman's house for five years.
Artist: Maurice Harfort
Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning!

Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has tiny tears and some tiny paper loss in the blank borders only, and otherwise it is in pretty nice condition!
