An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) The Remarkable Andrew, the 1942 Stuart Heisler historical American bank embezzlement crime fantasy melodrama ("Novel and Screen Play by Dalton Trumbo"; a wacky story of a man named Andrew Long who works for a society that honors the famous president Andrew Jackson, and then he is accused of embezzling from them, and he is visited by ghosts of Jackson and other famous American heroes who offer him advice on how to deal with the crisis, and then the ghost of Jesse James shows up and helps him to escape and find the real crooks who framed him) starring Brian Donlevy (in the title role as Andrew Jackson), William Holden (very young in this role!; in the title role as Andrew Long), Ellen Drew, Montagu Love, and Porter Hall NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. The theater that used this slide wrote the days the movie was playing in the playdates section at the bottom of the glass. Otherwise, the cardboard holder has staining around the staples, but the glass slide itself is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
