The Glorious Trail, the 1928 Albert S. Rogell silent winning-of-The-West telegraph romantic action adventure western melodrama ("Story by Marion Jackson"; "It will live as long as history!"; "Brings to the screen the thrill-packed, love-packed story of the first trans-continental telephone. A mighty epic of the West, told with all the breath-taking riding that has made Ken Maynard the King of Outdoor Adventure."; "Ken Maynard's greatest special!"; about a company trying to put telegraph lines over Indian territory, and the Indians kill many of the workers, but once the telegraph is completed, they are able to get help from soldiers at a fort; the manager of the telegraph company finds romance as well) starring Ken Maynard, Gladys McConnell, Frank Hagney, James Bradbury Jr., Billy Franey, Chief Yowlachie, Les Bates, and Tarzan (Maynard's horse). Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.

Condition: good to very good. Two have some vintage Greyhound Bus advertisements glued on back and one (the one with Maynard holding a whip) was used as a ledger or list on back (with pencil). One has some glue stains on the back. Most of the defects do not effect the front of the cards which are otherwise in pretty nice condition.
