In a murder-mystery that packs as big a punch as the NEW Dick Powell!"; "Haunted by a lovely face... hunted for another's crime!"; "Two-Fisted, hardboiled terrific!"; adapted from the novel 'Farewell, My Lovely' by Raymond Chandler) starring Dick Powell (as Philip Marlowe), Claire Trevor (as Velma Valento), Anne Shirley (as Ann Grayle), Otto Kruger, Mike Mazurki (as Moose Malloy), Miles Mander, Douglas Walton, Don Douglas, Ernie Adams, and Dewey Robinson. The movie was intended to be released as "Farewell, My Lovely", the name of the source novel, but it was changed at the last minute. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. The card is lightly rippled and water stained in the bottom 5" and some in the lower left of the image, but fortunately not in the stars' figures or faces (see both our images). This is the sort of card that responds really well to professional restoration. It is likely that much or all of the water staining and rippling can be removed through chemical means, after which the card will look fantastic (although some collectors would probably be willing to display this great card on their wall just as it is, because the water staining and rippling is not very noticeable).
