Kim Novak is a beautiful blonde actress from the 1950s to the 1990s. Her most memorable role was starring in Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo. Some of her other movies include: Bell Book and Candle, Picnic, The Man with the Golden Arm, and Kiss Me, Stupid. As of 2024, she is still alive at the age of 91.

Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! Also note that this still was glued to a stiff board after it was printed (this was something done by Columbia during this period, as it has a studio stamp and snipe on the back). It was likely a key book still, with an extra 1" at the top that had punch holes, but that area was trimmed off. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic.
