Nothin' to Lose... She Loved Wherever Her Flames Caught Fire!"; "From the novel by Lula Vollmer.") starring Katharine Hepburn ("as the lying, stealing, singing, praying witch girl of the Ozarks", "The screen's disturbing star in her greatest human role!"), Robert Young, Ralph Bellamy, Martha Sleeper, Louis Mason, Sara Haden, Virginia Howell, Sidney Toler, and Will Geer (much later famous as Grandpa Walton; billed as "High Ghere") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Norman McMurray Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had three circular areas of paper loss 4" from the right of the poster. One was in the top of Hepburn's hair, one was in her cheek, and one was in the bottom black background area, affecting the bottom of the "EPE" of "SLEEPER". Each of the circular areas were approximately 1" in diameter. It also had some tears and paper loss in Hepburn's credit and in the "TU" of "PICTURES" above it. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. This is probably one of the absolute best restoration jobs I have ever seen, because the paper loss was so expertly recreated that I would bet 99% of collectors could not tell what was repaired, even if they were inches away from the poster (although they could see some signs of restoration, I don't think they could at all tell the extent of it), and the entire poster displays really well! I would say that this was likely restored by one of the most legendary talents in the hobby, perhaps one of the ones that are no longer with us, but I think every collector would be happy to display this great poster on their wall!
