An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Soup to Nuts, the 1930 Benjamin Stoloff musical romantic slapstick comedy ("Rube Goldberg's all-laughing Fox Movietone Farce") starring Ted Healy, Charles Winninger, Frances McCoy, George Bickel, The Three Stooges (Shemp Howard, Moe Howard, and Larry Fine; in their first movie appearance!), Rube Goldberg, Billy Barty, Billy Bletcher, and Fred Sanborn. Note that this was The Three Stooges' first movie, and Shemp was one of them. After this movie, he would leave the act and his brother Curly would take his place, and he would only return to the Stooges many years later, when Curly got sick. Movie paper of any sort from this movie is beyond rare, and because the Stooges have somewhat secondary roles as firemen (together with Fred Sanborn, who plays a fourth mute fireman), they appear on next to no movie paper of any sort! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that first release 1930 stills from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned one other single still from this movie until we received this one, and that other one pictured Healy and McCoy, and no Three Stooges, so obviously, this is a jillion times better than that still! Also note that this is one of four truly remarkable (and incredibly rare) 1930s Three Stooges stills we were consigned from the collection of a man who collected on The Three Stooges decades ago. We are auctioning them in four separate auctions, and any one of the four would be a centerpiece of a Three Stooges collection! Condition: very good. There is tiny paper loss in the bottom corners. There is a pair of staple holes in each corner of the image and a few creases around the edges, with one crease near the center of the image, in the waist of the girl at center (see our image).
