Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card #5 (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Mark Twain's A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court (released outside the U.S. as "A Yankee in King Arthur's Court"; apparently they felt non-U.S. people would not know where Connecticut was!), the 1949 Tay Garnett medieval time travel science fiction fantasy musical comedy ("His newest, greatest romantic musical with Bing singing hit after hit!"; "with New Bing Song Hits!"; "From the Famous Classic by Mark Twain", which was written in 1889) starring Bing Crosby, Rhonda Fleming, William Bendix, Cedric Hardwicke (billed as "Sir Cedric Hardwicke"), Murvyn Vye, Virginia Field, and Henry Wilcoxon. Note that this was somewhat of a remake of the 1931 non-musical Will Rogers movie, but that was simply called "A Connecticut Yankee". NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
