An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Campaign Book (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm]; 11 pages) (Learn More) Paramount Pictures Presents for 1959-60, the slim 1959 campaign book (just 11 pages) prepared for their upcoming movies. There are color and black & white images promoting their upcoming movies. But probably the most interesting part of the campaign book is the final page, where they show an image of Elvis Presley in uniform, and they promote that they will be making his first movie after he is discharged from the Army, and also pictures of books that they have just purchased the rights to, which included Breakfast at Tiffany's, with the fascinating description, "Who will play the central character is one of the most exciting speculations and eagerly-contended contests in Hollywood today"! Of course, the part went to Audrey Hepburn, but we did not realize that many other actresses vied for the role! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good to fine. There is minor wear on the covers. Learn More about condition grades
