An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 47 1/4" x 62 3/4" [120 x 159 cm]) (Learn More)

Gardez le Sourire (literally translates to "Keep Smiling"), the 1933 Pal Fejos & Rene Sti Austrian/French romantic melodrama starring Annabella, Gustav Froehlich, Helene Darly, Robert Ozanne, and Marcel Vibert. Note that this was the French version of this movie but there was also a German version which was filmed at the same time. The German version was titled Sonnenstrahl (and was released in the U.S. as Ray of Sunshine), and it also starred Annabella and Gustav Frohlich, with different German actors playing the other parts.

Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned an example of this poster or ANY other movie paper for this title before! Also note that this is an extremely rare French poster from before World War II! Virtually no French posters survive from before World War II since apparently there were many paper shortages in Europe during World War II, resulting in the destruction of almost all posters from before and World War II, and also from during the war, and the first few years afterwards.
