NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Michel Landi Important Added Info: Note that this is a French poster that measures 39" x 51", which is not a typical French size. There is a regular French one-panel that measures 47 1/4" x 62 1/2". We don't know why they would have made this second poster, unless it is for export to another French speaking country. It appears to have been printed from a French poster, because the printing quality is MUCH lesser than the regular French one-panel. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that this item (and others we are auctioning in this set of auctions) come to us from the estate of Lee Sanders. Mr. Sanders was a nationally recognized projectionist, film poster collector, and union activist who passed away earlier this year, and the net proceeds from the sale of his varied and eclectic collection will be donated to promote film studies at the Besant School of Happy Valley in Ojai, Ca. Condition: good. The poster was attached to a wall with pieces of Velcro that were glued to the back of the corners. There are glue stains in the front of the poster in those areas, and some glue stains scattered in the borders. See our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this poster.
