An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Fury, the classic 1936 Fritz Lang mob-violence-and-its-aftermath crime melodrama ("Based on a story by Norman Krasna"; about a man who is a victim of an angry mob, and he is trapped in a building and left to burn to death; he survives, but remains hidden, and the members of the mob are put on trial for his "death") starring Sylvia Sidney, Spencer Tracy, Walter Abel, Walter Brennan, Eddie Quillan, Bruce Cabot, Frank Albertson, and George Walcott. Note that this is a VERY "dark" movie, reflective of Fritz Lang's world view, having recently escaped Nazi Germany, and of course, the world itself had a similar view, with Adolf Hitler's rise to power. Yet it is also a very powerful movie, and many consider it among Fritz Lang's very best movies, which is saying a lot! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that first release 1936 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a one-sheet (23 years ago) two glass slides, and some 8x10 stills (and never even one lobby card) from this movie until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There is a tack hole with a tiny circular stain in each corner and in the center of each border. Otherwise, the card is in pretty nice condition.
