If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned this poster before! Also, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre was released in 1974 in the U.S. and distributed by Bryanston. In 1980, New Line Cinema re-released the film in the United States. The poster offered here (which we have never seen before and has a great "forbidden to cardiacs and pregnant women" tagline) mentions New Line Cinema so we know that the poster is not from 1974, but we are unsure of when the Lebanese first release took place. So please bid knowing that this poster is likely from the early 1980s and may be from the first release or a re-release. If anyone knows more, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also, note that this Lebanese poster measures 27 1/2" x 39 1/4" [70 x 100 cm]. Condition: good. The poster has heavy fold and border wear, extra creases and some discoloration scattered in various areas (see our image). It has creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges with some surface paper loss in portions of the left edge. Learn More about condition grades
