He appeared in many serials including: Ghost of Zorro, Radar Men from the Moon, and Jungle Dreams of Africa. He is certainly best remembered for his starring role in TV's "The Lone Ranger" (he made personal appearances as the Lone Ranger for many years, but when a remake was made in the 1980s, the studio would not let him wear the famous Lone Ranger mask, and he was forced to wear wrap-around sunglasses instead!). Moore passed away in 1999 at the age of 85. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Clayton Moore! Our consignor is a dealer who has acquired many autographed items over many decades. He enjoys finding an item with a good image of that star to "pair" it with, so that the owner can frame the signed item together with the item with the good image. Included with the signed item is a Lone Ranger comic book (vol. 1 no. 82 from April 1955). The items could be matted together to create a cool display! Also note that the item comes with a "certificate of authenticity" from an individual whose name we cannot read (see our image). As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
