An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Eddie Cantor (born Isidore Itzkowitz) was a comic actor and singer from the 1920s to the 1950s. He performed a little later than Al Jolson, but there were similarities between the two men, and Cantor had very large expressive eyes and was nicknamed "Old Banjo Eyes". He had a very successful radio show in the 1930s. Some of his movies include: Thank Your Lucky Stars, Hollywood Canteen, and Whoopee! There was a movie biography of his life called "The Eddie Cantor Story". He passed away in 1964 at the age of 72. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Eddie Cantor! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from "Nate D. Sanders Inc." auction, and a copy of the auction listing will be included with the photo. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
