An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Special Movie Poster (measures 21" x 32 1/2") (Learn More) Fast Times at Ridgemont High (released outside the U.S. as "Fast Times"), the classic 1982 Amy Heckerling coming-of-age high school teen comedy ("At Ridgemont High Only the Rules get Busted!"; "It's Awesome, Totally Awesome!"; "Screenplay by Cameron Crowe"; "Based on the book by Cameron Crowe") starring Sean Penn (as Jeff Spicoli), Jennifer Jason Leigh (as Stacy Hamilton), Judge Reinhold (as Brad Hamilton), Phoebe Cates (as Linda Barrett), Brian Backer (as Mark 'Rat' Ratner), Robert Romanus (as Mike Damone), Ray Walston (as Mr. Hand), Forest Whitaker (as Charles Jefferson), Anthony Edwards (as Spicoli's Stoner Bud), Eric Stoltz (as another Stoner Bud), and Nicolas Cage (billed as "Nicholas Coppola" in his very first movie role!). Note that Edwards, Cage, and Stoltz were all in early minor roles, but went on to long distinguished careers! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Rod Dyer Important Added Info: Note that this was a special poster that was made in advance of the movie to promote the book that had preceded the movie, and the poster mentions that the book is "SOON TO BE A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE FROM UNIVERSAL". It is likely that this poster was displayed in bookstores, but it may have also been displayed at movie theaters. Note that it is also quite likely that none of the movie roles had been cast when this poster was made, as none of the characters on the poster resemble the actors who played those parts. Also note that this special poster measures 21" x 32 1/2" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. The poster has two horizontal folds and two vertical folds. There were creases and some smudges along some of the foldlines and some very minor border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
