An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Blondes At Work, the 1938 Frank McDonald romantic comedy (one of the series of "Torchy Blane" movies, with the same main character) starring Glenda Farrell (as Torchy Blane), Barton MacLane, Tom Kennedy, Rosella Towne, Donald Briggs, Carole Landis, and Betty Compson. Note that the first Torchy Blane movie was made in 1937, called "Smart Blonde", and it starred Glenda Farrell in the lead role. There were a total of nine Torchy Blane movies. Farrell played the lead in seven of them. In two of the ones near the end of the series, Jane Wyman and Lola Lane filled in for Farrell, perhaps because she had other commitments. The series only lasted for two years, but was quite popular.

Condition: good to very good. card has darkened slightly (typical of Warner Bros. linen cards of this period), but the card is not at all fragile; 1" square was cut out from the upper middle of the right border (extending to the edge of the "K" of "WORK"), but it was neatly taped back in from the reverse and you can only see a fine line of separation down the left edge; some tiny paper loss in the right of the top border; creases and tiny areas of surface paper loss around the edges of the card; the image area of the card is in pretty nice condition!
