Strayer silent German Shepherd dog canine melodrama starring Jane Novak, Lightning ("the Wonder Dog"), Alan Roscoe, Billie Jean (a child actress, as "Baby Cuddles"; this was her only movie and we can find no more about her), Richard Tucker, and Mario Carillo. Note that Lightning made an uncredited appearance in the 1934 movie, "The Case of the Howling Dog", and that got him discovered and he starred in a half dozen movies over the next three year, after which he retired from the screen! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster had some reddish-brown smudges down the left and right, mostly in the borders, but somewhat in the background, and they appear to be a printing defect. Otherwise, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking, with minor fold and border wear. The poster was nicely backed, but the restorer did not address the printing defect described above (which is not very distracting). Learn More about condition grades
