An Undated (probably 1920s) Re-Release Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Wrong Man, the 1917 Fred Kelsey silent cowboy western short (from the story by N.P. Oakes) starring Harry Carey Sr., Fritzi Ridgeway, Vester Pegg, William Steele, George Berrell, and Hoot Gibson. Note that Hoot Gibson was a real life cowboy who worked in Wild West shows and as a stuntman in movies of the 1910s. During this time, he was married to Helen Gibson, who was a major silent star. In the 1920s, he became a major star of B-westerns. This was one of his early movies where he likely was cast for his stuntman abilities. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a VERY odd lobby card. It looks like it could have been trimmed from a larger size, but it may not have been trimmed at all. It also has no releasing studio, which makes us assume it is surely from a re-release. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. There are many small tape repairs on the back.
