Scandalous! But Wonderful!"; "Based on a play written by Ferenc Molnar and adapted by Sidney Howard") starring Sophia Loren, Maurice Chevalier, John Gavin, Angela Lansbury, Milly Vitale, Roberto Risso, Isabel Jeans, and Tullio Carminati. Note that this movie has a fascinating history! In 1928, Ferenc Molnar wrote the play "Olympia" in German, and ten years later, Sidney Howard (well remembered for his screenplay of "Gone with the Wind" the following year) wrote an English language version of Olympia. But Howard died in 1939, and the script "sat on the shelf" for 22 years until it was finally turned into this movie. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
