If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this one-sheet measures 28" x 41". Please do not bid on it thinking that it is 27" x 41". Condition: good to very good. The poster had paper loss at the top crossfold and creases, tears, and areas of paper loss down parts of the vertical foldline. There were tears and tiny areas of paper loss in the left half of the top foldline and a tiny circle of paper loss in the center of Fairbanks' eye. There was tiny paper loss and a V-shaped tear in the left of the woman's hair (to the right of her eye). There was a semi-circular tear in the back of Fairbanks' hand. There was a 5" diagonal tear in the top right tagline, with paper loss in the top of the red background to the left of the tagline. There was a slightly diagonal crease starting to the left of the middle crossfold, in the top of the "L" of "DOUGLAS" and running parallel to the middle foldline across the top of the "NKS" of "FAIRBANKS", and into the background area at the right of the middle of the poster. There were some creases, tears, and areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was expertly linenbacked by Igor Edelman approximately 15 years ago, when he was at the height of his restoration ability, and it really displays great. I doubt anyone could tell the extent of the defects or exactly where the restoration is without looking at the poster extremely closely (as I just did), and the poster does not have a "heavily painted" look to it, and I think it will display great on anyone's wall!
