Important Added Info: Note that this ultra rare style of Japanese poster (which measures larger than a regular Japanese B2, 22 1/2" x 36 3/4", and which is printed on a heavier paper stock, and which has some English writing along with some Japanese writing) comes to us from Japan and our Japanese consignor tells us that Christie's South Kensington auctioned a single example of this poster in 2009, and they said that "Recent research suggests that this poster was produced exclusively for the premiere of A Hard Day's Night in Japan.", and that example sold for $862. We have only once previously auctioned an example of this poster (it has a completely different image from that of the regular Japanese B2 on this title) and that one sold for $1,400. There was a similar poster created for "Help!", which was also created for the premiere of that movie. Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. There is a very light horizontal crease across the poster at upper and lower center from it being stored with posters that were tri-folded and there is some tiny blank border loss at the left edge of the upper light crease, but it affects only blank paper and the poster is otherwise in nice condition!
