Artist: Robert McGinnis Important Added Info: Note that this poster features the Transamerica logo under United Artists, but other posters do not have this logo. No one (including every Bond expert we contacted) is certain why some posters do not have the TA logo (which you would expect to see on a poster from this date). However, this poster DOES have the Transamerica logo and we are 100% certain that it is a 1974 theatrical poster. Note also that this one-sheet was marked "EAST HEMI" which means it was printed for use in one half of the world (there were also posters stamped "WEST HEMI" for use in the other half of the world!). THIS WAS DUE TO THE TWO PRODUCERS (Saltzman and Broccoli) BEING UNABLE TO AGREE ON WHO SHOULD GET FIRST BILLING! They resolved this by having posters for half of the world having one of their names first, and on the other half of the world, they reversed it! Condition: good. The poster has separation and tears at the center crossfold and someone attempted some amateur restoration to that area (see our image). It otherwise has general fold and border wear and light creases. Learn More about condition grades
