Date Sold 7/15/2012 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 34 stills. The items in this lot are from the 1940s to the 1960s. Many of them have a snipe that folds over the bottom of the still and it lightly glued to the back (and each snipe gives much information about the still). They come to us from a man who worked for a newspaper during those years, and he saw that the newspaper did not want the stills after using them, so he asked if he could have them, and he has saved them over all these years and is offering them now! Note that some of the stars pictured include: Ava Gardner, Cyd Charisse, Kirk Douglas, James Caan, Jean Seberg, and Ann Blyth. IMPORTANT! Note that the newspaper used some of these pictures to just illustrate stars, so in some cases, they trimmed the stills to around the image of the stars. Measurements: from 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" to 8" x 10"Condition: very good to fine. The stills are generally in nice condition, and many of them have paper snipes attached telling about the shows.
